May you have been a very merry month! With sunny days and bursting hedgerows.
To celebrate the season I planned a little Regency-inspired garden tea. I cut and folded into big flouncy bows a lovely pink cotton toile fabric, I then wired the bows onto jars, popped in some sherbet ice cream-coloured blooms and hung them in the freshly clipped hedge by the pond.

All that was needed then was the picnic hamper with a hand painted ‘Darling Buds of May’ tablecloth and a collection of vintage china tea cups to complete the scene!
